Marvel's event “Heroes Reborn” is coming soon this spring. This Marvel version of Justice League called “Squadron Supreme” team are pastiches Justice League members like Hyperion, Nighthawk and Power Princess are analogs for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Now DC is doing with the whole future Future State/Infinite Frontier a reboot. Whole like dc do the same thing their take on Heroes Reborn not as an event or paste copy but just a miniseries and one-shots from Retaliators from Earth 8. If you don't remember them they sure was homage/analogue to Marvel Avengers. They only had nearly 10 appearances in Guidebook Vol 1 issue 1. The Multiversity Vol 1 issue 1-2 and last appeared was in Flash Forward Vol 1-2.

Think it is an interesting good story concept DC should do. To their own reimagined of avengers with the Retaliators. Unlike The Seven (From The Boys) and Squadron Supreme (From Marvel) really be corrupted by corporate or run by a government. Don’t want to seem Retaliators portrayed as villains but to seem different from Marvel counterparts like American Crusader, Behemoth, Machinehead, Ladybug, Wundajin, Kite, Red Dragon and Major Max with similarities and different origins. Remember When Stan Lee wrote for DC back in 2001 with “Just Imagine…”. Well what if writers from dc have the chance to write their own version of Avengers. DC and Marvel felt they had different writing methods and storytelling structures. Basically What if DC wrote Marvel Characters retold.

Even Sideways made his return and traveled to Earth 8 and joined up with Retaliators (Sideways be stand-in for Retalitors SpiderMan) shortly and returned home. They could fight against Lord Havok and his team of Extremists or a Earth 8 Version of Brotherhood of Evil Mutants or The Sinister Six. Well what do you think? Would like to see that Retalitors return and have their own miniseries?

I totally read this as "Retailers", which honestly would be more interesting than what this is actually about.
