Is the membership fee annual, and do you get full graders notes when researching potential buys is the registry with any of the memberships?

I would also like to hear everyone’s recommendation.  Should I start as associate and move up and just pay the difference?

Which membership to get really depends on how much you are going to submit.

Premium is the best value for average collectors.  It's $150 up front, but you get the $150 credit for submissions, plus 10% off.  That $150 doesnt apply to shipping or CCS services, but it's a good value if you'll be grading anything valuable or more than just a few books.

If you're going to send more than say 25 books in a year go premium first, because it's effectively "free" since you get a $150 credit. Make a submission just large enough to use the entire credit then upgrade to Elite at $280 instead of $299 (you get a discount for upgrading) and grab another $150 credit plus the 15% off. With the discount and credits your membership pays for itself very quickly.
