Question on grading and size of magazine

I recently got in possession of the 1st edition of Warhammer 40k codex from 1987 and would love to have it graded.  It is a hardback and measures 11.5" X 8.25" X .75".

Can this be sent to CGC for grading?

Thank you!

Good morning,

The maximum size we can encapsulate would be:

  • 11-1/2” tall
  • 8-7/8” wide
  • 1/2” thick

It seems like this book would be too thick to fit into the holder.  If you have any questions, please let us know.  Thanks!

Does it matter if it's a hard cover?  Or is it anything over .5" regardless of hard covers, jeweled covers, etc that cannot be graded/encapsuled.
