I had his auctions on my watch list, but felt that there were enough uncertainties not to pull the trigger. That and the fact that there was some very serious bidding going on with his stuff.

I just happened to see the Batman 11 auction this week.

Looking again at that scan and the auction blurb, I'm amazed I took those auctions seriously. I'm amazed anyone did.

For what it's worth, we had a thread going on the General board about how fishy these auctions looked, so I would think (hope) no board members got taken. Since the seller's prior feedback was good, my money was on a hijacked account?...but who really knows...
