Asmodean
I bought this without seeing the damage on the back. It's for my personal collection, not a flip and I don't think I'd slab it, also it was less then $50. But it's still a disappointment as I don't think I would have picked it up if I knew about the missing piece. What would you grade it and do you think I over payed? CHASEnBLUE
1.5 to 1.8 with that piece missing imo Asmodean
Bayowolf
I know the Overstreet Guide to Grading says for a 2.0 that "The largest piece allowed missing is usually a 1/2 " triangle or a 1/4" square" (and that piece is larger). BUT it also has caveat "NOTE: Certain defects are allowed if other defects are not present" . Since for this comic the FC is in pretty good shape ("other defects not present"). I'll give it a 2.0! Galen130
4.0. If it's for your personal collection, does it matter if you overpaid? That would be my question.
Asmodean
Only in the sense that I would not have purchased the book at all if I had been a bit more diligent. Galen130
Funnybooks
Despite the piece out of the BC, the book still presents well and I believe it would still grade in the vg +/- range
