Another one from the vault.

Book has a bunch of stains that I am hoping will come out with a cleaning. Minor creasing with some color breaks but nothing major. Corners are showing age. Front cover top edge and right edge has a small tear.

Will be pressing and cleaning.

Dry cleaning can remove some surface stains, but stains that are soaked through the cover may be lessened, perhaps, but likely won’t be removed entirely.

4.5

This.  A 5.0 is possible after CP. 🤙

In your experience does the cleaning remove stains like this?

4.0-4.5 with the stains

Cleaning a book is done using various erasers. So stains like that do not come out. There are some guys who play around with actually getting the paper wet as a means to eliminate or reduce the stain but I personally would not try that for fear of doing other damage.
