Not to derail, well, perhaps a little, but this book iis a good example of what is still collected, despite a "value". Not only does this title and others like Jerry Lewis and Dobie Gillis have the occasional Adams contribution, but they are also chock full of Oksner and Mort Drucker, and if a person hasn't seen Drucker, they've yet to truly live. I have a good Canuck buddy who once referred to high grade Dobiie Gillis as a "guilty pleasure". Other examples of what seem to be recession resistant funny books, at least for me, are Atlas, Barks Ducks, 10 cent DC's, Romance in grade, I'm still not seeing all the high-grade copies of Bible Tales For Young Folks surface, as all the speculators flee the burning ship. Not sure, I bid on it because I have strong memories with this book.

When I was young and first showed an interest in comics my brothers gave me their books, and they collected stuff like this along with some westerns. A copy of this book was in that group of comics. Over time it got beat up and tossed out, but I always remembered it and I want to have a copy again. But contemporary me wants it in a 9.8, haha.
