KCOComics Posted April 28, 2021 Share Posted April 28, 2021 Awesome book! This has been on my want list for awhile. I'm leaning towards a 2.0. It may go 1.8 with the pieces missing. As for the paint, I think it would be tough to remove it. I can give you contact info for a pro who can answer the question more accurately than I can. My thoughts are, you or a pro could try to scrape it off, but there is allot of down side. Risk to the book, you'll likely always see the marks even if you do a prefect job. There are chemical solutions that could possibly be used, but then you are talking purple label for professional cleaning. I would leave it. It's a low grade book and removing the paint won't bump the value much if it all. In fact you run a greater risk of hurting the value if it gets botched. Awesome book! Good luck!
