QOBrien67
So I'm a long time collector who is new to getting comics graded. I recently got my first batch back and was within ~.2 of what I estimated (I was high). After reconsidering why, I now can understand how I was off. That said these things are vexing me. They seem to be "common" on books and Im assuming its something with printing, binding or shipping due to the prevalence, but Im curious how they affect value. I couldn't find anything about them specifically but I was curious. This ASM 361 for example is a super clean copy but has these 2 ticks front cover. 2 ticks on the back. Neither touches the pages so it had to be a cover issue pre binding. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I thought that might be the case but I wasn't positive and wanted to confirm. Funnybooks
