What is the actual grade of this NM- advertised comic? 2 2

Unfortunately, not everyone is adept at grading (even here on the boards) and it’s something a buyer should educate themself on before making a purchase based on someone’s opinion. There are also “dun dun dun....” dishonest sellers that take advantage of this. Hard to believe, right?

I’ve spent hours on Craigslist looking for a car and I always see dramatic defects.. and “the car is in perfect running condition just needs a new engine” lol. generally it’s better to be conservative and leave the buyer pleasantly satisfied

Including CGC themselves if some of the "what happened here?" threads are anything to go by...

Hamster has a completely split spine, has been trimmed on three sides, and has a slight musty smell from being stored in a damp basement.

Other than that...... he's in great shape.
