yeah---Adams's Tomahawk covers were beautiful!! I remember when they came out I couldnt resist them, only to get home and suffer through the Frank Thorne intertiors.

 

Thornes is a classic artist with a unique style of his own, Im not saying he was a hack (Don what the Heck)...but after these covers it was a real letdown!

 

Ok Ok that was unfair to Don Heck. He also was a brilliany cartoonist, who, compared to Kirby etc just --well, juts didnt compare very favorably.
