This was in a pile of GA pieces I bought.

It has the Superman Krypto Ray gun on the inside so I thought it might be a DC from around 1940/41

Anyone recognize it?

You get a bonus "no prize" if it turns out to be from a key issue.

Thanks Marwood.  Supe 7 seems to be correct.... and the "address codes" match up too.

Weirdly the final image you show has the wrong "yellow" back cover?

It's from one of those 'read comics for free' sites, and it looked like the images were cobbled together somewhat. It does seem to be the right one though doesn't it. All you need now is the cover and innards and you're up, up and away!

I've got 1% of a Superman 7.

I'm rich!

Why couldn't this have been the back cover to Action 7 :frustrated:

What would it have been worth if it was do you think?

I seem to recall the (back cover only)  being listed on ebay for $5000.   I'm sure my memory is wrong.

I doubt it, nowadays.

GPA has a sale of an Action 7 Back cover for $1500 back in 2013.

I'm sure that's the one I saw.  $1500..... not $5000 (although... if you needed a back cover to complete an Action 7 I'll bet you'd pay $5000)

You answered my question so fast that no one else needed to join in.

Yes.

Go find another. I'll take me time with it.

I could have used Marwood in the old days when boxes of GA coverless comics were abundant on eBay;)

I will go downstairs and double check the back of my Superman 7.

If it's missing, you know who to call...

Well, it is "missing" but that just means it's in the wrong box, lol...and I REALLY need to go through all my books which used to be in perfect alphabetical and numerical order, but somehow became less so in the past year.

I did find the Lois Lane 1 undercopy I was missing...it was filed under "Superman" not Lois...can you imagine?;)?
