I am appreciative of all the comicbooks in my collection, but there are a couple I am very blessed and grateful to own. This is one of them. I got this at a shop 10-15 years ago for around $10. Recently I was back at the shop and another customer was talking about the Spirit. I showed him and the owner a picture of my copy. The owner said he'd never seen one in person before. I told him that's funny because I bought it here. For years Overstreet has noted this as rare. Last I looked there were only a dozen or so copies on the census. That this copy has survived, even in its lowly condition, is remarkable. It was a newspaper insert for gosh sakes. The pages are CRM and near brittle (but not yet). There is staining. Obviously it has tears and pieces missing. Grading it should be easy. It likely will come down to two choices - Fair or Poor. Let me know what you think. Eisner! First Spirit! Have fun grading!
