Hi, all.  Late notice this week, I know.  But really, that works in your favor ... less notice means fewer bids, and fewer bids means better deals!

And this week we've got some great ones.  Nineteen books in total, ending tomorrow night (Monday, June 14th).  The big one is Harbinger #1 from 1992 in a stunning 9.8!  Only $405 currently, this issue has routinely gone for a thousand bucks or more.  (It once sold for over THREE thousand dollars; but, alas, those days are gone.)  The range over the last year on GPA was $510 - $830.  So a great deal!

We also have a nice set of Something is Killing the Children.  All but one of these are 9.8, with a lot of variant covers and retailer incentives.  Check out the covers below!  Also up this week is a stunning first cover appearance of Punchline in the One-Per-Store black and white variant.  Current bid is just $105.  Champions #1 by the popular Peach Momoko with a spotlight on Miles Morales.  And an affordable copy of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #8 CGC 7.0.  I have NO idea how this one got that grade.  A mistake?  They do happen.  Look at the extreme closeup pic that MyComicShop provides, and judge for yourself.

There are also some Thor, a beautiful Brooks X-Men, an amazing Strikeforce cover by Christopher, and two AMAZING Vampirella covers - one by the great Josh Middleton, and a 1:30 RI from volume 5 by Ergun Gunduz that is just stunning.

Check them out below!

@Tedsaid Those are some great looking books, I'm glad I took your advice and purchased some SIKTC #1's about 8 months ago. Hope you're doing well.

Hey, great to hear from you!  I'm also glad you got some SIKTC #1's ... it's a great series, and the value on that thing has really climbed.  The high I think was around $1700 for a 9.8, but it's pulled back a little, to maybe $1300?  Which is still solid, and the fan base is still growing.  I just sold a 9.6 at auction for $600.  And the auction above did very well, also.

That's funny that you commented just now, because I also just received a message from Bronte.  Coincidence?  Was there some more discussion of this whole thing over at CBCS?  I don't read it very much ... Jesse had my IP address blocked, so I can't even read the forum on my desktop.  I can access it through my phone, but it's a pain - I have to turn off the wifi first.

Well, thanks for reaching out, and I hope you are doing well!  Tell the usual suspects I said 'Hi.'  (But, you know ... not in a "passing messages from banned members" sort of way, which is against the rules.)

Ted

@Tedsaid we discussed how you're on these boards and we should come over here and all hang out sometime :).  I'm planning on holding onto my SIKTC copies and also the 10 copies of We Live #1 I purchased based on your recommendation.  There was also some confusion as to if you were still alive, since ebaymafia commented how he missed you with a "RIP @tedsaid", so it's good that you're still with us.

Ha!  I'm not so sure if he meant it sincerely, or tongue-in-cheek!  xD

J/k ... I'm sure it wasn't flippant.  Ebaymafia's a good guy.  We generally disagreed on stuff, but you could talk to him, and learn a thing or two if you listened.

Ten copies!  That's fantastic.  I don't recall how many I bought, but it was in that neighborhood.  With a few variants thrown in.  I've sold a couple, I have a few at CGC, a few at my presser, and a few around here.  Disorganized as hell, but here somewhere.

And SIKTC, I've got TONS of that series, and just about every issue.  Especially #16.  Man, I loaded up on the variant covers for that one.  Might be a year before I make my money back on those, but I'm not going to miss out on anything.  But #1 A, that's harder and harder to get for a good price these days.  I have three total - two waiting to be graded and one just sent to my presser that will never be a 9.8.  But one of the other two will be, and maybe (fingers crossed) both.  That would be great.
