Bidding on Live Auctions at Heritage

Can anyone explain the options below:

Bid Next Minimum - this places bids until live bidding?

Your Secret Maximum Bid - this places bids now, or only when live auction bidding starts?

During the live bidding for the current auction, can you enable and bid? Or do they have to be done before the live bidding auction (When they countdown from 4,3,2, closed)?

you can bid early, bid live, or even bid after the auction has started but before the item comes up and it will hold the bid and register it only when the item comes to auction

once auctions go live you can bid up to the hammer, and bids before auction starts are registered immediately

Thanks, I wanted to bid up until hammer, thanks for clarifying.

Appears to be one of the hardest auction houses to bid on with so many options. I guess once you get the hang of it your good to go.

You can also attend Signature auctions in person and place bids from the floor, and some of the big shots do so by 'attending' the live auction via phone through an in person surrogate.

For a minute, I actually thought this thread was going to be about someone who was attending, in-person, a live auction and needed help knowing how it worked (kids and their “virtual” obsession)  lol

It's fun.  You register as a bidder and they give you a paddle with your ID number on it to hold up.
