Hi what I'm wondering is why its so much cheaper for comics to be graded in USA than in the UK ? 

I've been told in USA its $18 while in the UK its £26 which is roughly $36

Do you have a link to where it says this?

On the UK cgc site. It says books are graded in the UK and you can post them there. There's quite a few British YouTubers that have had them graded in the UK as well.
