hot book and a tough one to price due to condition

this is my OO copy, bought from Marple Comics almost definitely (New Brunswick NJ 1991). For many years my Conan went unbagged and this is one of those, so although there was never contact with water there was apparently humidity and this bad boy has warped considerably

so...newsstand copy, great cover on hot comic (don't ask me why, all things McFarlane I guess)...raw NM going for $80/$90...I'll take $40 if anyone wants it at that price

let's wrap this up!

All items remaining are now B1G1. No Limit and max discount given. Buy 1 and get 1 at equal value or less for free. If you buy 2 $10 items and 2 $5 items you will get max discount, meaning 1 $10 item free and 1 $5 item free, not the cheapest items free! And any combined prices are good for the B1G1, so if it says buy all books for $9, that counts as 1 $9 item.

Only new purchases qualify.

Make me regret this!

Thanks Mike!

so, to be clear, great deals here...you could buy the Red Rocket 7 set and take the overpriced Conan above for $40 as your freebie, or take the hip hop comics "all comics in this post" for $29 (I think it is) and add or the signed Wrightson priced at $22 for free.

I will start at the bottom and work up to maximize discount. If you buy 6 items price 8, 8, 7, 6, 3, 3, you will pay 8+7+3 (=18), not 8+8+7 (=23). et cetera et cetera

I am also having a special in my g/s/b thread if you buy a slab at listed prices you get $25 of raw comics free...feel free to then double dip and use that credit for the B1G1 (so in example above if you also bought a slab $18 worth of the $25 credit would pay for those 6 comics and you could get more as well)

Are you sure this isn’t just the cheap paper from that time period?

I have a bunch of later Conans (and Web of Spideys) that have that ripple and it isn’t from moisture.

If I remember correctly, the paper was so cheap and it just sucked up the inks and made the book wavy. Or something similar.

Unless I am just making stuff up.

Which is entirely possible. lol

I have no idea but the book is pretty rippled. It is really annoying, it was in a bag. But in any event, in aint silky smooth so I wanted to be clear. It is really really rippled.

it sits here at 50% NM ebay sold prices even at B1G1 so the point is moot

I mean, it is rippled. I imagine that could be...ahem...Shawshanked (time...and pressure) and lose some of its funk but that is beyond me.
