A book length color-breaking crease like this, with no other flaws, would put the grade in the VG range. IMO. Were the crease not to break color, it could be FN.

The book's additional flaws - further color-breaking creasing, moderate spine and corner wear and soiling on the back cover - don't alter my grade much.

It presents much better than the grade.

Thanks for posting. We saw issues 23 & 24 yesterday. Today it's 21 & 22. Are we counting down to #1?

Thanks for the explanation, I'll look for this in some of my other older comics.  Of course they had no idea back in 1966 that these would be valuable collectors items some day.  Closer inspection of the comic reveals that it was indeed folded directly down the middle, with the crease running throughout the entire book.  Cool information, thanks board members.
