Bad form to reply to my own message, but here's an exquisite coincidence. When I posted these covers, my son's girl friend, in Paris for 5 weeks (that's probably why the topic caught my attention), was trying to phone him from up in the Eiffel Tower! She couldn't get a connection, reportedly because there are directional cell towers all over it.
