Nothing too valuable or special, just took in about five dozen funny books at around this grade and thought they looked better than your average copy. I’m assuming mid grade or a bit better but wanted the thoughts of everyone else. Apologies on the shadows.

nice copy with some soiling that can easily be cleaned off

you mentioned mid-grade but it seems much higher unless you see something that is not visible on the wraps?

I agree with @Funnybooks about this being above mid-grade. There is slight creasing of the cover and the spine appears to have lost some color but without the usual defects you see like tears, creasing and ticks.

Is anyone familiar with Lone Star’s grading methods? Would they generally agree with the 8.0-8.5 assessment if I submit a dozen or so of these books to them?

I've never dealt with Lonestar so I can't comment on their business practice but that book is VF all day long and I would be shocked if they graded the book as mid-grade ( barring any major interior defects )
