I had bought like five shares of Covanta at around $13 each just as a joke to @jaybuck43, to show him that I was a silent minority shareholder of a New Jersey based waste removal business.  The Sopranos jokes have gone back and forth.

It went to $20.  and was bought out.

Not always.  It always depends on what you are willing to part with.  Look around and ask yourself, do you need this or that.  Weigh things against each other.  Would you rather have this or that Funko Pop. 

You will be very very surprised how quickly things add up.
