what to make of this? Clearly that is a highly desireable book that he is listing for only 2k.

This makes me very suspicious. Especially when you look at the other items the guy has sold...it is all antique like stuff: books, antlers, cap guns..

and suddenly he has a 9.0 Blue label batman #1???

It's been brought up on the Silver Forum - the book is on Comiclink, and the concensus is that it's a hijacked account. Fairly obviously.

it's a scam... he or she puts up rare books all the time... and they make it private..thats a 1st clue right there of a scam.. then what they do is always end the auction early..to avoid the fees and most likelly try and sell it off of ebay.... do not be dismayed to the good feedback they have... lets not forget the guy who had over 5000 positives and no negatives 5 years ago and swindled peeps for over 100 K. they had a unrestored amazing fantasty 15 /9.0 on a few months ago.. then ended it early with a saying thats its no longer for sale.. also when someone makes a auction private ,its more difficult to prove that the seller is working a scam...even though you know they are.....forget about this auction... people don't sale cgc 9.0- batman 1 for $2,000... there was a batman number 1 in good condition just last week that sold for over $3,000....NUFF SAID
