Yellowjacket 7

First  comic with a horror story to make use of a host,  predates  the  EC horror stories with hosts
by several  years.  Killer skull cover to boot!

And this is the second gem of the  thread.  Look  closely at the scans, there just isn't much wrong
with this book,  and IMO  everything  except the tiny chip lower  RH  BC would disappear  with a
clean and a press.   Offwhite pages.

If I  can't get my asking  price that's exactly  what will happen,  press and slab.

GPA lists a 9.6 (Mile High, 2018)  sale at  $6500, 9.2 (2015) at  $660,  and a 9.0 (2019) at $550.
Most recent is  a 7.5, just this month, for $425

I want $750 or  off it goes  to for a press and a slab.

Strange Tales 97, rough reader

So,  here's the issue  with  a Ditko story featuring  Aunt May and Uncle  Ben, published before
Amazing Fantasy 15.  Sure, believe it if you want,  if you think Ben  might've grown a mustache, lol

This  copy is just a litany  of  bad luck.  Good sized piece out lower  RH FC, another out
lower  RH  BC, large water stain  with foxing upper  LH  FC, matching stain, not quite as
bad,  upper  RH BC, pulled upper staple,  other minor mayhem.  Interior is nice enough,
with offwhite pages.

Asking  $60 for a rough reader.  SOLD!

Supersnipe V2 #12,  rough reader

Cover is barely hanging on to the single staple,   good sized split upper spine,  small split with  piece out
BC lower spine, CCF is loose, other bits out here and there,  plenty of transverse spine roll.

Good  reader,  not a lick better.

Asking  $15  SOLD!

The Brave and  The Bold  36

Third  SA  appearance  Hawkman,  first appearance  Shadow-Thief.

Chip out of spine  below lower staple, bit of general wear.  Flat,  clean,  tight spine and CF,  good  gloss,  white pages.

Asking $75

1st appearance of a pretty big villain here. DC keys are definitely under appreciated affordable at the moment. I theorize if this was a Marvel title it would be three times this amount.

I really dig The Shadow Thief so I'll take it.

Let's try a pulp!

Thrilling  Sports  V16 #2,  fall  1944

Better shape than most of the pulps I find,  with the usual  general wear,  especially along the
lower edge.  Solid copy otherwise.

Asking  $15

Vicki 3

Well,  I have yet to get my hands on  a nice copy  of  issue  3, they've all looked more or less  like this.

Light sub-type crease   FC, light pencil scribble LH edge FC,   good sized dogear upper  LH BC,
light water  BC.  Interior is nice,  tight with  white pages.  Sigh,  mutter...

Somebody must want a nice reader/filler,  asking  $15

Obscure  Lev Gleason  comic,  don't  remember seeing  this title at all before.
Small corner off lower  RH BC,  split lower spine,  bit of chipping here and there,
couple small tears along spine.  Interior is tight,  decent amount of gloss left, white pages.
