Scanner recommendations for OA size

8 posts in this topic

We use this:

http://www.mustek.com/html/prod_scan/A3usb.html

[embarrassing lack of self control] for most anything else, but works great for OA - and one of the cheapest A3 scanners around.

We also use the following connected to a Mac:

http://www.umax.com/scanners/index.jsp?cate=Scanners%3A+Professional+models&skunum=SPKG-14127

which is an excellent all-round machine - but costs more.

Your going to have to scan it in two parts then blend together to make complete image.

At least I go

The purpose of the question is to find a tabloid scanner so that he won't have to do that.

I use that same Mustek. It's great for line art and for a tabloid scanner it's cheap (under $200)
