Hello, 

I had a great opportunity to buy a key GA book I never thought I would own,  so I jumped on it! 

Now I'm hoping you all will help me pay for it 🙂   

Hard to give up some of these books,  but I'm hopeful I can sell them here and keep them in the hands of board members.

Rules - 

1. No people on bad lists
2. Shipping- $12 per slab, $8 for raws up to 6.  USPS 
3. Returns - no returns on slabs. I will be as transparent as possible to eliminate any unwelcome surprises. Raws can be returned within 3 days of arrival. 
4. I'll take it in the thread trumps any negotiations.
5. Payment - checks (must clear before shipping) money order and PayPal G/S

Lastly,  I would really like to sell these books here so please feel free to make an offer. I use ebay sold prices for pricing and if you see something your interested in, but my prices seem out of wack, ping me and we can discuss it.

Avengers 4 CGC graded 3.5 $2,000 sold!

Sorry the pictures aren't great. There is a long crease from the A down to Caps hand.  Hard to see. 

I bought this off comic link a few years ago and there is a slight crimp at the bottom of the bc that appears to have happened during encapsulation.  Still a nice presenting copy of a SA classic!

Funny story - (hopefully funny to someone because it wasn't for me).  When I first started collecting I found this book in upstate NY while vacationing with my family. I was probably 16. 

I fell in love with the cover and the shop owner dazzled my teenage mind with stories of Kirby and Ditko.  So he sold me this "NM" copy for only $125. 

Years later, I had it slabbed and got a very harsh lesson in grading and spotting CT.  

I was so upset by the purple label and grade I really haven't looked at this much since. 

It is a nice presenting 4.0, but proved to be a costly lesson and cautionary tale for me.

DD3 - 6.5 $575 

This is a really nice presenting copy. I bought it graded, but it looks like it should be a little higher than 6.5 to me.

The good - nice structural book with great colors. 

The Bad - some paper loss over the second D in Daredevil and Newtons ring!! The book would look really nice if you care to reslab it.

A press could help this guy. Nice looking copy held by back some creasing in the bottom right corner.

DD7 5.5 removed. 

Priced a little aggressively because I'm happy to keep it. First red costume drawn by the great Wally Wood.  

The colors are fabulous on this copy. It's held by some color breaking creases. There is some newton's ring unfortunately. 

 

This was one of those books I always really wanted as a kid. It felt like a big key,  even if it wasn't one of Marvel's big books. I ended up buying this one off Clink about 3 years ago.

Hulk 3 raw 1.8 $500  sold to awakeintheashes

I bought this from Ted at Super world last year to complete my Hulk 1-6. 

I was able to upgrade my #3 which means this guy is up for sale. Spine split from the top to the top staple and spine is generally in rough shape. Several creases and a stain on the bc. 

A pretty affordable copy on awesome early Hulk with a classic Kirby cover.
