Just got a Detective Comics 880 and have been seeing different opinions on whether a small color breaking spine tick would still get a CGC 9.8. Figured I should ask the forum so hope these pictures are adequate and let me know if anything could be done better. The color breaking spine tick is in the middle of the backside. The press would not fix the color-breaking ticks but it could eliminate any other slight defects like non-color-breaking ticks, tiny handling defects, etc. If this copy presents no other defects except the color-breaking ticks, a 9.4 is likely and a 9.6 is possible.
