CGC keep an eye on lost books? 0

Over the years, I’ve had a few eBay transitions where CGC books are either lost/stolen.  Was wondering if I was to report these to CGC and provide them the registry number they might keep an eye out for them if the books somehow made it back to them?  Or is this just wishful thinking?

Good question and worth asking directly to a CGC rep if there is any mechanism to flag lost/stolen items in case they made their way back to them. Thieves aren't always smart but are always greedy.

That only works if they send them to CGC still in slab. 

If they crack them no way for CGC to know its a resub. What would they look out for?

I heard they assigned that task to the Quality Control Department.  Rest assured you are in good hands.
