m19ark
Please grade my Uncanny X-men #221. Very clean copy but has a stain on the top of the back cover. Does not affect inner pages. Just the cover. How bad will the grade be? Thanks everyone!! Galen130

I don't think the grade will improve beyond an 8.0...again, IMO. grendelbo
ronvogel
Quick question from someone trying to learn... maybe it's me but the only thing I'm seeing here is the stain. Am I missing some other significant flaw(s), or is that stain on the back cover enough to plummet this book's value to the 7.5/8.0 range? I feel like I see silver/bronze age books with more apparent issues grade higher - is there a different standard for modern? Thanks in advance... Considered a moderate to severe flaw in most cases.
shadroch
A stain like that knocks it way down. I'd give it a 6.0.
