My older cousins got me into them with probably my earliest memory of it being Mad Special #7 and I got hooked with the mini reprint comics and other stuff in those specials. Mad and Sport magazine were my personal subs as a kid - my Dad got Sports Illustrated and Time, which I also read religiously.
