Death Valley #4 April 1954 Comic Media Pubs

Violent, Don Heck cover + 2 stories. 

A real nice copy complete and great color. Minor cover edge and corner wear. Some minor spine stress bends. Very tiny chip out of back cover. No creases or tears and lays flat. Spine is tight and everything well attached. Nice slightly yellowed pages with no damage.

$100. (don’t mind keeping this one)…

OK, I can break up with it for $75.

Congo Bill #5 April-May 1955 DC Pubs

Cool, DC jungle stories. Bill ran forever in Action Comics. Guess they thought he was popular for his own book. Short run title from that “hard” era of DC books. 

Blinding red cover! A real nice, flat, very glossy, clean complete copy. No tears or creases. Smooth tight spine and everything well attached. Has a few small spine bends including a larger one at bottom of spine in back. A sharp book!

WAS $225. OK, how about $200?

Has some spotting on cover. Tiny hole in girl’s leg at bottom. 1” very neat lower spine split. Top staple popped. Back cover has a 1” edge tear and is a little discolored at bottom. Despite this, a decent copy with nice paper and a great reader.

Ace Comics #65 Aug 1942 David McKay Pubs

Great patriotic flag cover. Contents are real good and contain The Phantom by Falk, (8 pages) Prince Valliant by Foster and Jungle Jim by Alex Raymond. Big, fat GA issue!

Funny thing… I googled this book shop just for fun since it’s in my home town. As I figured, LONG gone. It is now a Starbucks…

Nice, complete copy with a few problems. A tear on both front cover and back cover edges. Tiny chip out of top of spine. And a tiny hole punch in cover at top right. Store stamp on cover. Solid, well bound copy with slightly yellowed pages.

WAS $35.   NOW 30.
