The bottom cover is detached from the staple.  Can that be repaired and where do I find the potential value of a Qualified book?

The quick-and-dirty fix for a blown staple is simply to pull out your household stapler and get busy.  The more elegant (but still lay-person level) fix is a three-step process: (1) remove the blown staple; (2) apply tape to the cover tear via the outside cover, inside cover, or both; and (3) re-insert the removed staple to reattach the cover to the interior.  Personally, I'd leave the book as is.  :foryou:

At this condition level, a Qualified Grade is nothing more than a "participation trophy" designed to make the book's owner feel better about his/her seriously defective item.  Your book would be VG-ish if not for the multiple missing story panels.  However, in actuality, your book is no better than FR.  Accept reality.  Hence, to estimate your book's market value, look at past sales of this issue with an identical actual grade.   :preach:
