Hello I was hoping to get some help grading this comic,  it's got a particular defect that I just don't know how to grade.

On the back of this comic in the top corner a small chunk has been torn out and take back on.

I would have no problem grading this comic but for this defect and I just don't know how much this defect takes away from the overall grade ...any advice, opinions and grades would be really helpful

Yeah that taping really knocks it down! It has spine crease, a little blunted corners and back is a bit dirty. With just that IMHO 7.5

but with that poor tape job 5.5

That chunk looks to be about quarter-size so I think no more than 5.0. This copy's other defects look acceptable in this range. CGC will count the major defect as if the tape is not there but the label will indicate tape on the back cover and it's interior opposite.

Ouch!!  I really hate tape on comics…5.0/5.5.
