Like you I still love my kids. I enjoy the people I work with. But im out. The legislature has treated us like poop for a decade and its very clear our school board and a good amount of parents dont give a flying hatbox if we live or die just as long as they get reelected and the parents have somewhere to send their kids. Preferably with the choice to wear a mask or not. It has broken me. So Im going to quit/retire early and sell comics. And if it doesnt work ill find something else to do. Even though I am "just a teacher" (by societies definition) I am employable and have two college degrees. My services would be valued.
