See stuff like that makes me scratch my head.  Did some dude or dudette decided they wanted one bad and that was the only one available so they paid up or did somebody shill bid to try and start something or some other totally different reason?  Just interesting to consider the vagaries of pricing in this hobby.

Yup.  It’s subjective. What are powerful driving forces for a purist collector like myself may differ markedly from those appealing to someone who’s in it just for the money, and then all points in between. It’s a complex, greyed spectrum.

What happened to Mr. Peck aka 2sunny?  He came in last year like the Kool Aid Man, made approximately 100 threads over a month or two, and disappeared faster than Game of Thrones after Season 8.  What gives?

Not if they are DC. 

I have noticed that a lot of DC I bought 7-10 years ago is now selling at treble or more the price.
