JOURNEY INTO FEAR #16 in 4.5. Tougher Superior PCH with a great skeleton mailman cover. He's just so gosh-darn happy! Pretty deep purple cover. Nice solid book with good colors, no major issues.

STARTLING TERROR TALES #6 in 2.5. Scarce LB Cole horror/war cover. Really nice eye appeal for grade; spine feels on the weak side with ~35% cumulative splits and fraying, but still holding at staples.

THE PERFECT CRIME #31 in 3.0. Cool 'haunted glass' GGA/crime cover... kind of a poor man's Chamber of Chills #19. :) Lower grade but glossy with bold colors; stain in upper right that leaves a small mark on the interior page right edges. OW pages. $80

SORORITY SECRETS #1 in 3.0. Uncommon romance comic with a great steamy cover. Glossy tight book looks higher VG, but two punctures through book in the lower left (discreet enough, but there), top staple cleanly pulled through, hint of moisture ripple through the green background.

$95

BLACK CAT MYSTERY #43. Sweet Lee Elias bondage cover. Fairly glossy with strong colors, but the covers were split and discreetly resealed with archival tape so technical grade is 1.0/1.5; interior is loose but fits the cover snugly. A small store stamp (visible on the cover) was also applied to most pages. OW pages. Sharp book for the price.

$110

One more for the road,

PLANET COMICS #27 in .5. This book has so many problems it's hard to know where to begin: **missing 4 random pages**... 3"x2" piece cut out of the back cover and an amateur repair to the hole... and one of the most severe production miscuts I've ever seen, which removed most right page margins and cuts into the art on many pages (I don't believe there's actual edge trimming by hand but can't guarantee it). Whew! Still, a filler/starter copy for someone... cool cover plus 48 pages of 1943 Fiction House GA goodness. I'm guessing very low grade #27s would normally run in the $125-250 range...

$65  SOLD

GREEN HORNET COMICS #18 in 3.5, borderline 4.0Stunner of a Schomburg bondage cover. This looks and feels like a real pretty midgrade book but has moisture stains on both sides of the spine. Everything is attached at the single staple, but the staple is rusted with a small amount of transfer inside (see spoiler'd interior pic). The book's structure and eye appeal suggest a much higher grade. HA sales in 2021: CGC 2.5 $660, and a raw 4.0 for $1320.

$995
