I have an encapsulated comic graded from cgc years ago. Unfortunately its cracked and i want to send it back to get pressed and graded again. Should i open it first before sending and or or leave it and you guys open and if the grade becomes the same do you reuse the same census label and if grade goes up you remove the old census.any info in this on submissions?

Good morning,

You can leave it in the holder and we will crack it out here before we start the process.  If the book is being regraded, it will receive a new certification number.  We only keep the existing number when it is submitted for a simple reholder where we just put the book into a new holder.
