What's a dealer to do?

Just have a look at ebay: lots and lots of bids on slabbed books. The people populating this forum are in the minority as far as collectors are concerned. Most have never heard of Ewert. Many forget this.

And the vast majority are selling on eBay for well under what they were even 6 months ago...

The vast majority of Moderns aren't even covering slab costs...

The vast majority of selling prices for Bronze 9.6 slabs are so low it's scary...

And it looks like unless a Silver slab is from a pedigree collection, the eBay market is depressed as well...

A lot of us have been predicting this would happen for a while. The prices previously being paid for HG slabbed Moderns, BAs and late SAs never made sense in the first place. I don`t think the overdue correction that we`re currently seeing in these sectors has anything to do with Ewert or doubts about CGC.

Yep...I know that. Just responding to the eBay example that everything's rosy in regards to slabs. But with that said...because the market is dipping independently of any scam, it'll be harder to see the effects of an individual action's response in the market. You're never sure what the stimulus is for the correction...
