CGC .5 OW-W pages. ( I'd guess this would be a Qualified 2.5 if graded that way)

Centerfold is missing, and 2/3rds of page 13 ( or 25/26 for anyone other than CGC) is torn out. 

Pretty decent eye appeal for the grade on the cover, the reason this book is in such demand.  Label and book scans are stitched together.

Apparent 2.5 OW-W  pages

Schomburg cover. 

There is a thumbnail sized piece at the bottom of the cover that has adhered to the splash page. It looks like the piece was torn off after adhesion as it took a bit of paper from the inside front cover with it, and I don't know if was glue or some other substance that caused it to stick, but if glue I imagine it might get a "restored" label if slabbed. 

There is also a 3" spine split at bottom and cover is detached from bottom staple, though secure at top.

EX-CGC 6.0 (CONSERVED)  OW-W pages

Spine split seal, cover reinforced, staples replaced.

Cracked out of case, but still in sealed inner well.

I think CGC was a bit generous with the grade as looking at the spine through the well it looks like was about 50% split prior to repair.

That said, it has killer eye-appeal.

Someone colored in Uncle Sam's lapels with a layer of blue ink, and then maybe tried to erase some of it. 

Cover is detached, 1" spine split at bottom, 2" tear at bottom of cover.  The "10" written next to Uncle Sam gouges through the cover.
