BATMAN #55 in CGC 2.5 Restored OW/W. "The Case of the 48 Jokers!" Great cover by Sprang. Bright pretty book with a front cover that looks more 4.0 than 2.5. Label notes: "Restoration includes cover re-attached with glue. Tape on interior cover." GPA: no restored sales, but a CGC 3.5 for $668 and a 1.8 for $545; this year HA sold a somewhat worse-looking raw 2.0 and 3.0 for $660 each. Affordable shot at a cool earlyish Joker cover.

RANGERS COMICS #15 in 2.0/2.5. Lovely early Rangers with a WWII bondage cover. Chock full of Fiction House GGA! Each splash page has the artist's name written neatly in pencil. Cover is detached at the single staple, with a spine piece out there and a corner piece out on the back. This was purchased from James Payette as part of the Steele collection; comes with a certificate. (James' grade was Good- but IMO most would call this Good/Good+.) Offwhite pages.

WARTIME ROMANCES #13 in 2.5. "Look how fast Ginny hooked onto that kid!" Classic Baker GGA cover. Some degree of tanning to both sides of the covers, but still pretty nice eye appeal with rich colors & excellent gloss. Grade is docked for a missing piece on the back, else it presents as a 4.0 or so. Offwhite pages with no halo.

THE TEXAN #11 in 2.5. Matt Baker cover, and surprisingly most of the interior stories are Baker-drawn. One of the better Texan covers by him; strong colors, attached at both staples though spine has about 30% cumulative splits.

BLACK CAT MYSTERY #43. Sweet Lee Elias bondage cover. Glossy with strong colors, but covers were split & discreetly resealed with archival tape so technical grade is 1.0/1.5; interior is loose but fits the cover snugly. A small store stamp (visible on the cover) was also applied to most pages. OW pages. Really nice book for the grade and price.

PERFECT CRIME #31 in 3.0. Cool 'haunted glass' GGA/crime cover... kind of a poor man's Chamber of Chills #19. Lower grade but glossy with bold colors; stain in upper right that leaves a small mark on the interior page right edges. Offwhite pages.

SORORITY SECRETS #1 in 3.0. Uncommon romance comic with an awesome steamy cover. Glossy tight book looks higher VG, but two punctures through book in the lower left (discreet enough, but there), top staple cleanly pulled through, hint of moisture ripple through the green background.

WORLDS OF FEAR #7 in 4.0/4.5. Fantastic skeleton orchestra cover. Glossy attractive book from the front with crisp spine and edges, but the back cover has a corner piece missing and some light stains and smudges. JOURNEY INTO FEAR #16 in 4.5. Tougher Superior PCH with a great skeleton mailman cover. He's just so gosh-darn happy! Pretty deep purple cover. Nice solid book with good colors, no major issues.
