 A Skybox 1993 'Art de Bart' sketch card by Matt Groening went for 10K on the 'Bay today.  And it's only an 'Ordinary' Bart sketch, Groening drew other Simpsons characters at first, but mass-produced Bart sketches when he ran out of steam.

Is that the most ever paid for a sketch card???  It's got to be up there... assuming the seller actually collects.  The winning bidder had a few more bids lined up over the underbidder, so he must have REALLY wanted that card.

Makes me think about dragging out my own 'Art de Bart' from storage. Is the underbidder on this board?
