GF kid had it and Dr said she couldnt use binoculars.

nope.  they dont need night vision goggles either they already got night vision.

If you are going to bring up guilt by association then he should know it is a real thing.  I know someone that was brought up on RICO charges and became a guest of the feds for a couple of years... all because of guilt by association.
