I had an 11th grader with an F in math.  Last week of school he aksed what he could do to bring it up to a B.  I said develop a new branch of mathematics.
Also had a student with a D+ in biology-he said there's no way my parents will accept this I need at least a B.  I said so its supposed to be important to me to give you a grade you didnt earn when it wasnt important enough to you to actually earn that grade?
