We'll be 100 plus through the weekend here, but with low humidity.  July is usually hottest here in the river valley.

very seldom, probably under 10-15 times in the 40 years I've been alive

lol thats including the times that it was any kind of frost or such. I remember one superbowl here in Dallas, snow fell off the new stadium and caused some casualties. We're sometimes not prepared.

Yeah. The only time I saw real snow was when I briefly lived in upstate New York.

Out here, it happens once every 10 years or so.

The upside is you dont live with constant humidity.in summer even when its just a little hot the humidity factor  is relentless!

So far this week we have been a little cooler here in my local area of Florida. Only due to the rain which has been almost every day . We have been averaging a high of about 95 , but that combined with a VERY high humidity just about love to choke people out. It gets so thick .

Yesterday there were two pop up showers that dumped about a foot of rain each in no time, followed by very high temps and the constant "heat advisory" warnings.
