Blenders:
The government instituted blenders and made the pitch of the motor at a frequency which affects the limbic system, making humans passive and accepting of things.  you can see people that have blenders in their home are more relaxed and passive.  They also put up with all kinds of outrageous things, like being chipped at night.

Broccoli and movies:
You never see people eating broccoli in movies-ever.  You see french bread and them breakfasts no one eats-but never broccoli.  This is because the government doesnt want people eating broccoli.  There was even a famous president who said he hates broccoli.  The reason?  Broccoli contains enzymes which degrade nanoware that the government puts in the drinking water.

The answer goes all the way back to Desert Storm II, and Saddam Hussein. See, the US had technologically advanced blenders back then, and much like how we wouldn't allow them Playstation 2's because they could use the chips for missiles, the same could be done with blenders. So Iraq supposedly mass imported thousands of blenders, for long-range missile purposes. But the government now doesn't want us using advanced blender technology, so blender technology has been deliberately throttled for the last 20 years. Think about it!

Ever see Soylent Green? It came out JUST when home-blenders were becoming mainstream.

Coincidence?

They want people getting used to eating blended unidentifiable liquid mush so that they can start getting us to start consuming each other.

Except for one movie which dares to promote it, and has its roots in British film - the James Bond films. They makes it sound like this broccoli is a person (A Broccoli, I mean come on!), that's not true. It's the broccoli confederation trying to get some advertising in. They bought off the British government decades ago, before the US even dreamed it could go this far. Think about it!

Blenders-
Machine intelligences actually patented the blender and made them popular-the goal is to get more and more people to blend their food-until everything is blended-steak potatoes and garlic bread-whatever-once humans get used to just drinking nutrients, the next step is to put them in cocoons, feed them with liquids and insert them into the matrix.  You cannot have people needing to prepare and chew food and have them passively lay in a cocoon.
