I created a slot called Vampirella Quarterly Summer 2007 1 (First Printing/Alternate Cover)

This is the 3rd time I have run into this problem this week.  Are these considered actual variants? 

I am concerned that these comics are being mislabeled, and it gets confusing when trying to add them to sets.  Let me know, I will bring this up with the powers that be at our weekly meeting.

I have consulted with my colleague about these books, I am still waiting to hear back.  I will probably just add slots with descriptive titles.  I'm not sure if this issue is a data entry error or not.  When I hear back from the graders, I will let you know.  Thanks.

 

Hi Brian,

Could you please add the following titles to the Jim Lee Cover Set:

- Infinite Crisis # 3 (2nd Printing also sketch edition) #3954957021

- Joker 80th Anniversary #nn #2574153006

- Prototype #1 (Black & White Edition) #2669887003** 

**There are two Jim Lee variants of this book: one color and the black & white noted above. I don't think CGC has realized there are these two variants as they are not identified separately in the census. The black & white version is a bit of a mystery while the color version, I believe, was a 1:10 variant

- Scooby Apocalypse #1 (Convention Edition) #2669887007

- The Suit #1 #2669887005

Could you also expand several issues that are already in the set that have multiple covers? I know that CGC doesn't differentiate these issues but they are separate covers that collectors seek out. These issues are:

- All-Star Batman and Robin #1. There is a Batman Cover (# 0631630003) and a Robin Cover (#0133713008). I'd suggest differentiating these as either Batman Cover and Robin Cover

- Batman #619 has 4 variants: There is the "normal cover" (#3884519010); 2nd printing (#1262079024) and 2 variant Gatefold covers which only exists as one entry. There is a variant Heroes gatefold (#1262079022) and a villains gatefold (#1613563007). I'd suggest differentiating these as either Heroes Gatefold variant and Villians Gatefold variant

- Superman #215 has an A & B variant. (I'm not sure which is which) One has a close-up of Superman (#0993623016) and other has him fighting Zod (#2105570025). I'd suggest differentiating these as Superman and Zod covers

- and last but not least X-Men #1. I know there was some conversation a few posts back about separating the 4 classic covers in the X-Men (1991) 1-275 Set. Can you have a similar scheme put into the Jim Lee Cover Set? I know CGC didn't recognize them separately but I mean these 4 covers are iconic and it's a shame that they aren't notated separately in this set as they should be....

Hi, 

For set Grimm Fairy Tales, i cannot insert the 3rd issue second cover to a different slot.

The book is number 3 with certification 3894147019 and i already gave the 0284077007 in that slot..

There isnt a different slot for the sean shaw cover..

Can you rectify please?

Hello, can you fix the He-Man/Thundercats (2016) set? There are two different covers for the issue 1 slot. One is a Hero’s cover and the other is a Villain’s cover

I have added a slot to that set titled:

He-Man/Thundercats 1 Villain Cover

Please use that slot for the Villain Cover Variant

There currently seems to be an issue with variants/alternate covers for a number of series.  I have engaged with the grading team to determine the root cause.

Hello,  I represent about a dozen collectors of the Classics type comics, who do we work with to clean up a set?

Example:  Classics Illustrated set has multiple errors  

Classics Illustrated 7 No Comic       Shop eBay
Classics Illustrated 7 HRN6 No Comic       Shop eBay

These books are the same thing - delete the HRN6 line 

Classics Illustrated 11 No Comic       Shop eBay
Classics Illustrated 11 HRN10 No Comic       Shop eBay

These books are the same thing - delete the HRN10 line

Classics Illustrated 12 No Comic       Shop eBay
Classics Illustrated 12 HRN11 No Comic       Shop eBay

Same thing - delete the HRN11 line

Classics Illustrated 162A No Comic       Shop eBay

This one doesn't belong in there at all its a Special and has its own Classics set - delete from here, its already listed in the special set

There are many more errors to list and we want to straighten them out. 

Please advise how to best do this. All ready have on a spreadsheet
