PGM FF #19 4 4

Here is my copy of Fantastic Four #19. It is my goal to have FF #1 - #20 in CGC-graded slabs. Currently, I have issues #1 - #10 and #12 in slabs; also, issue #13 is currently at CFP, before heading to CGC. With your help, I hope to determine if my remaining issues are slab worthy.

Here are the issues as I see them:

The front cover is dirty. There are two significant color-breaking creases at the bottom right-hand corner of the front cover. There is a slight tear above the A in “MAGAZINE.’ There is color loss at the top left-hand corner and the bottom of the left-hand corner of the front cover. There is a piece missing near the bottom left-hand corner of the back corner.  There are creases on the back cover, but I feel many of them could be pressed out. The back cover is also dirty. It is possible there is some slight rusting of the staples, but it is very had to tell. There are some slight tears around the staples on the back cover. There is tanning on the front cover and back cover. There also is tanning on the insides of the front and back cover.

I think that this book could be definitely improved by a cleaning/pressing. What are your thoughts? Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

I'll go 4.5 at the top end...just enough defects to keep this copy under 5.0 imho even after a C&P

5.0 after C&P.

Sorry, bud.  We don’t always stay up to speed on PGM, at least not every day.  Sometimes I’ll wait for a few days, or I’m off the boards for a bit on the weekends.  Thanks for the tag…🖖

I'm going to go a 4.5, but I wouldn't be shocked to see it at a 5.0 after a press and clean.

if i were selling it i would list it as a VG 4.0 

hopefully CGC will give a grade bump higher....

My first thought was possibly 5.5 or 6.0, but the chunk out of the back cover puts me at 4.0 to 4.5, with 4.5 after cleaning. Books with just off-white covers are always tougher to gauge in my experience.
