You are at a convention and a dealer has THE book you have been wanting. But it in 9.0 condition. You say "Man I wish this were 9.4".

 

The dealer, with a flourish and a smile, takes the book from your hand and inserts half of it into a press. A short time later it is a 9.0/9.4.

 

Do you:

 

Take the book as is?

 

Ask the dealer to press the other half?

 

Kick the dealer in the nads?

 

Put one of the dealers nads in the press?

 

Put both nads in the press?

 

Pee on the book, suggesting it could use an aqueous wash?

 

Write evenly across the book various nonsense, names etc so it is now a nice VG but a Qualified 9.2?
