Signed books from artist 0

So I recently started getting into my signed collection and I read on the FAQ that some comics that are signed and sent from the artist can be consider signature series but is that true? Tyler Kirkham is the artist

The artist has to send the appropriate paperwork to CGC for this to occur.

Correct, CGC didn't accept COAs for signature series.

Darn. I just had a comic signed by Rob Liefeld. It came with a COA. Thanks for the info.
