I don't know; I used to think that but now I' not so sure.  Sure, more and more slabbed books have been pressed with each passing day but I have seen a ton of books in slabs over the past few years that have not.  I am shocked at the number of people who want to slab a book so they can sell it online, no consideration of pressing if they've even heard of it at all.
