Gonna post this bad boy in different threads when I have more time, but for now I am posting it here to get your opinion. Once again, a book with great eye appeal, all the defects are at the outer edges leaving all the emphasis on a surprisingly still glossy cover (the colours don't translate as well on the scan). However, it has all the defects of a 4.0 and while a C&P would really help the spine roll, I think it won't get it higher, let me know.

Defects include:

Major Spine Roll (could be fixed with pressing)

Staple pull at top staple (everything still firmly attached)

crease on the side due to spine roll

light chipping at the top and side

soiling on the back

half inch spine split at top and bottom

There are also non colour breaking creases that could be pressed out

I think a 4.0 is about right after a C&P.

I agree...could also go 3.5 or 4.5.  Who knows these days.
